It is just amazing outside again today. Actually it has been awesome for the past several days. Why is it that the nice weather makes me so happy? It just does. Yesterday I just walked around my yard and marveled at everything budding and growing. My trees are blooming and my first flowers are making their arrival. Springtime is like a rebirth. I also think of it as a reward for surviving winter. Those of us in Michigan should get an extra special reward for making it to spring this year after the winter we had!

 

So here it is your own very special award! It’s called a beautiful spring day. Enjoy it. Enjoy every second of it. Get outside. Wash your car, (you might want to clean it out too while you are at it.) I love it when my car is clean. Take a walk. I’ve been doing some yard work and cleaning out the flower beds. I have already washed the porch at the studio and washed some of the windows. I really don’t mind doing my handy projects on beautiful days. I actually look forward to them when it going to be nice out.

 

I guess I think that it is almost a crime to stay inside on a great day. I just love to be outdoors. When it’s warm and nice out that is. Even though I have a ton of work to get done today and I am teaching a friend of mine that is visiting some Photoshop I am going get outdoors. I just have too. I hope that you can too.

 

It is going to be a great spring/summer this year and I am getting so excited about photographing outdoors. I just love to photograph in the great outdoors. It’s so fun to have so many choices about where we can create beautiful portraits. I also love to photograph at clients homes in their own personal environment. It really makes a very unique and special portrait. 

 

This summer we are returning to northern Michigan for family portraits on the beach. We will be scheduling a week in Harbor Springs. We have a couple of sessions still available. We have not firmed up the exact dates in August we will be photographing. I will have those dates in a week or two and I will post those for sure.
