Angela's Portrait of the Month, July 2011
This month’s Portrait of the Month is another 2012 high school senior. We just had to share this image with you. It’s not just that we are photographing a lot of seniors right now it is simply that Olivia was pure joy to photograph and she is a really great kid that is going to go places!
We sat down with Olivia and her Mom a few weeks before her session to plan out her senior portrait session. We chatted about where and when we would photograph and how important clothing is in a professionally planned portrait. They requested that Angela take some more traditional studio images and of course some on our beautiful Victorian front porch. What Olivia and her Mom were really looking forward to was walking around town and creating something “different , original and creative”. Of course, that is exactly how Angela likes to photograph. She is always on a mission to make every one of her clients feel special and unique because they are. What a pure pleasure it was for Angela to work with Olivia. Obviously, she is beautiful young woman. The good news is just as beautiful on the inside as the outside.
The clothing that they choose for Olivia’s session was really, really terrific! The Buckle Store at Twelve Oaks Mall had a bunch of great outfits they helped her put together. Nickki, the manager and her staff at the store treated Olivia to her own personal shopping experience (available at no-charge) to help and they were extremely helpful selecting outfits and combinations that would compliment Olivia’s body shape as well as her personality. They put together a reasonably priced group of outfits that were all different and worked well for Olivia’s portraits.
Angela had a blast photographing Olivia. With all the right clothing, a beautiful girl with a terrific personality, a supportive and fun Mom and the permission to be as creative and crazy as she wanted how could Angela not have fun and get
amazing images!
We love sharing our “Portraits of the Month” with you and having you our good friends see what we are up to every few weeks.
